Iván Guerra and the Drops of “May Rain”
Building a society where equality is a reality—especially in science and technology—is a collective challenge.
Iván Guerra, a mentor with Inspira STEAM for the past six sessions, embodies the vital role of men committed to guiding young people in breaking down stereotypes and discovering limitless career paths.
Through his experience in schools across diverse social contexts—and at his own elementary school—Iván has witnessed how the presence of a role model transforms students’ perceptions.
As he himself reflects, engineering cannot afford to do without half of society’s talent. For Iván, the project acts like “May rain,” nourishing the fertile ground of young boys and girls as they grow so they can flourish with new career opportunities and an equal future.
As we look ahead to the launch of the 2026–2027 program, we are calling on more male mentors to join this movement for social transformation.
