Mari Luz Guenaga, head of the Inspira STEAM program at the University of Deusto, analyzes the impact of programs in the Basque Country now that the tenth edition of initiatives advocating for the continued promotion of technical careers with female participation is underway. According to EUSTAT, women continue to avoid sectors such as electricity and electronics, with 7.1% of female students, mechanical manufacturing with 11%, and IT and communications with 15.1%.
