A decade of shaping careers and setting real benchmarks
Celebrating ten years of work means looking back with pride and forward with renewed enthusiasm. The Inspira STEAM project commemorates its tenth anniversary by bringing together the experiences, lessons learned, and cumulative impact gained over a decade dedicated to fostering scientific and technological careers among young people, especially girls.
From the program’s inception in 2016 to the present, the number of participating schools and mentors willing to share their experience and expertise has grown exponentially.
We live in a world steeped in science and technology, yet we still face a clear lack of female representation in these fields. It is essential that women actively participate in building a society that is more innovative, diverse, and prepared for the future.
Inspira STEAM not only helps break down gender stereotypes in the classroom but also offers girls local role models with whom they can identify and through whom they can discover that they, too, can become engineers, architects, or scientists. The arrival of young people who were part of the program and are now pursuing college degrees in STEAM disciplines confirms that the seeds sown over the past ten years are growing and bearing fruit.
With our sights set on the new 2026–2027 edition, we are once again opening our doors to schools and mentors to continue transforming the educational and professional spheres together.
