Nuncy Gómez and the Impact of Mentoring
The true impact of mentoring lies in the connection and time spent with young people in the classroom.
Nuncy Gómez, a computer engineer, co-founder of the company Edurobotic in 2014, and a mentor at Inspira since 2017, brings her professional and entrepreneurial perspective to show that technology is neither foreign nor out of reach.
Inspira STEAM’s methodology stands out for moving away from one-hour lectures to create a space for genuine dialogue where real women share their everyday and professional experiences.
As Nuncy points out, “If you enjoy it and are curious about why things work the way they do… engineering is a definite yes,” reminding us that in a world where false equality still exists, half the population must be represented in shaping the science and technology of tomorrow.
With the launch of the 2026–2027 edition, we encourage more women from the business and scientific communities to join as mentors to inspire others through real-life experiences and empathy.
